How do I book for Anchored Cruise 2018?

Simply head to the bookings page where you can book instantly and start your countdown! Alternatively, if you prefer to call and speak to some-one direct please call the number listed at the top of the page.

When I how will receive Anchored tickets?

You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to complete your on-line check-in 15-30 days before departure. Each guest in your cabin is required to check-in online at least one week prior to sailing.

Where does the cruise go from and how do I get there?

The cruise port of Barcelona is only a 15 minute walk from the city center and can be easily accessed by taxi or bus. The nearest airport is Barcelona.

How do I pay for on-board extras?

On board all charges are made to your cruise sea pass card. You can manage this by either linking a debit or credit card to the sea pass which you pay at the end of the trip, or by topping up your sea pass card with cash.

Are there cash machines on board?

Yes, however payments are made via cruise cards that can be topped up via debit/credit card or cash.

What is the last day to book Anchored?

Cabins for Anchored are on a first come first serve basis.

Should I purchase travel insurrance?

Yes, we recommend that you purchase a travel insurance to protect you from any unexpected circumstances that might occur such as an airline losing your luggage. 

What shouldn’t I pack?

You are NOT allowed to bring onboard the vessel any intoxicating liq-uors/beverages, firearms, weapons of any kind, ammunition, explosive substances or any goods of a dangerous nature, nor animals of any kind. All Italian and international laws pertaining to drug use should be respected and will be strictly enforced.

Yes. the ship has a well-equipped Medical Center, supervised by a doc-tor and medical personnel personnel. Please note, however, that they are equipped to provide only basic medical care, and may not offer care for conditions requiring specialized expertise or equipment. Passengers with such conditions, or in the event of an emergency, may be evacuated at their own expense. Usage of the Medical Centre is chargeable.

I have special meal requirements. Will you be able to accommodate them?

Royal Caribbean International can accommodate the following special di-ets onboard: vegetarian, diabetic, low-fat, low-sodium, low-cholesterol diets. Other special diets such as kosher meals, gluten-free and lac-tose-free may be available upon request.

Are there transfers to the port and airport?

We do offer Airport Transfers – please see our Extras page to book. Transfers are charged at £30 return per person. Outbound Transfers: Your flight must arrive into BCN Airport between 09:00–12:00 on Thursday, 6th June to make our Transfers. Inbound Transfers: Transfers will leave for the Airport between 07:00–09:00 on Tuesday 12th June.Transfers must be booked in advance.

Royal Caribbean charges a mandatory, non-refundable service fee to all passengers for tips/gratuities for the ship staff, which is not included in your cruise fare. This is a total of $13.50 per guest, per day which will be added to your shipboard account by RCCL when you board the ship.
Additional charges will be Wi-Fi, alcoholic drinks and chargeable facilities/activities you choose to partake in.

I want my cabin next to my friends. How do I request that?

Once you and the rest of your group have paid for Anchored in full, please get in touch to let us know of any room shares or cabins you need close together. We will do everything we can to get you as close to your friends as possible, however the earlier you book, the easier it is to accommodate these requests. Special requests are not guaranteed.

When and how should I make the installment payments?

We offer the following 3 options for payment:
Option One – Pay in full at the time of booking.
Option Two – Pay your £200 deposit now and the remaining balance in 3 monthly installments.
Option Three – Pay your deposit now and the full remaining balance by 1st February 2018.

The nearest airport is Barcelona and we advise you arrive there by no later than 2pm on 7th of June to make sure you make the check in on time for the cruise. The cruise will leave at 5pm but check in will close at 4pm. A taxi from the airport to the cruise port should take no more than 30 minutes.

You’ll be staying onboard a 5* Royal Caribbean ship with an endless list of activities at your disposal:
– Sunset Yoga
– Wellness center including a 24hour gym, fitness classes and a running track
Table tennis, basketball court and football pitch
– Movie Theatre
– Casino
– Specialty restaurants
– Spa
– Mini golf
– Wine tasting

What do I need to bring with me?

Other than your smile, some SPF and and all of your mates, European converter plugs are a good idea – as is an extension lead, as there tend to be limited plugs in each cabin. Once you check in online much nearer the time, you’ll be given a boarding pass to print and bring to the port with you along with your passport and then, once you’re all checked in, you’ll be handed a ‘SeaPass’ card which acts as your identification, payment card and room card all in one. That’s all you need!
